Central Stone Company in Potosi, Missouri, is seeking a 1st Shift Quarry Plant Operator & Maintenance to join our team. The role is full-time and involves operating, monitoring, maintaining, and repairing rock crushing and processing equipment, conveyors, and related systems.

Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment and a safety-focused mindset, plus strong mechanical aptitude. We train the right attitude; expected to work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays in

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental rules per MSHA and company policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs and clean equipment as needed.
• Observe crushers and conveyors during operation to ensure proper function.
• Assist with plant mode changes and operate skid steer for cleanup.
• Monitor production and communicate needs to management.

Central Stone Company has an immediate full-time opening for 1st Shift Quarry Plant Operator & Maintenance position at our Potosi, MO location. The Plant Operator & Maintenance position is involved with operating, monitoring, maintaining, and repairing rock crushing, processing, conveying equipment.Ideal candidates would be experienced with general manufacturing processes and/or heavy equipment operation and maintenance, but we are happy to train those with the proper mindset and work ethic.

This position typically works Monday through Friday – with occasional Saturdays depending on peak season needs.

Plant Operator & Maintenance candidate requirements:

Major Plant Operator & Maintenance responsibilities include:

• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs and/or clean equipment as needed
• While crushing plant is in operation this position will walk around and observe crushers and conveyors for proper function
• Perform clean up using manual means along with operating skid steer
• Assist fellow crew members with plant mode changes
• Operate and monitor all equipment and production in safe and efficient manner
• Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
