Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking an Operator to safely operate plant equipment and conduct site work per company procedures. You will oversee loading/unloading, monitor inventory, test materials, and ensure safety compliance to hit targets.

The role requires a mix of technical skill and problem-solving, with focus on safety, reliability, and effective communication with the utility and teams on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to help create a zero-injury safety culture.
• Attends regular safety meetings and follows all safety guidelines as required.
• Maintain communication with utility.
• Monitor and record fly ash levels in silos and place orders as needed.
• Pull samples of fly ash from loads and silos for testing and perform required tests.
• Load trucks, rail cars or barges with fly ash directly from the silo.
• Unload trucks, rail cars, or other delivery system to fill fly ash silos.
• Weigh trucks and rail cars and record information in the operating system or production sheet.
• Operate loading equipment for loading trucks/rail cars (water truck, dump truck, vacuum truck, forklift).
• Operate production equipment including start up and shut down.
• Assist in disposal operations where required.
• Perform maintenance on grounds, equipment and facilities as directed.
• Manage paperwork and reports; maintain punctual attendance and scheduling flexibility.
• Report safety, quality, or equipment issues to Supervisor.
• Assist with maintenance repairs and projects.
