Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, seeks an Operator to safely run plant equipment and perform site work per established procedures. Duties include loading/unloading fly ash, monitoring inventories, testing materials, and ensuring safety compliance to meet operational targets.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to handle on-call and overtime assignments while maintaining records and generating tickets for billing.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication required.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to manage time and meet productivity standards.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
• Works well with others and follows supervisor directions.
• Willing to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Punctual and reliable in attendance.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits and support a zero-injury safety culture.
• Attend safety meetings and follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain communication with utility and other teams.
• Monitor fly ash levels in silos and place orders as needed.
• Pull samples of fly ash for testing and perform required tests.
• Load and unload materials (fly ash) from silos to trucks/rail cars.
• Operate loading equipment and start/stop production as required.
• Complete paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
