Job summary

Preferred Materials - Concrete Division, a CRH company, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Florida to support safe operations and maintain efficient plant performance. You will operate forklifts, perform basic repairs and tool use, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams while adhering to safety policies and OSHA standards.

Travel to other company facilities may be required. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions and perform basic mechanical tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge and practical repair skills are preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift efficiently to support production and shipping.
• Adjusts calibration of machines and conducts basic repairs as needed to maintain safe operations.
• Use power and hand tools to maintain and repair equipment; perform housekeeping and safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and adhere to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and maintenance personnel; report issues promptly.
• Travel to other company facilities as needed and maintain a professional attitude.
