Job summary

CRH Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, seeks an operator to safely run plant equipment and perform site work per company procedures. Responsibilities include loading/unloading fly ash, monitoring inventory, testing materials, and ensuring safety compliance to hit operational targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate plant equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits and contribute to a zero-injury safety culture.
• Monitor fly ash levels, test samples, and place orders as needed.
• Load/unload materials to/from trucks, rail cars, or barges.
• Record measurements and create billing tickets; maintain equipment.
• Operate loading and production equipment, start-up and shut-down.
• Report safety, quality, or maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
• Assist with maintenance, repairs, and projects as required.
