Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a Plant Clerk to support plant operations and the sales team. The role will provide administrative and customer support to ensure optimal performance at the Monon, Indiana site.

Responsibilities include dispatch backup, weighing/ticketing trucks, visitor safety, daily cash sales, and reporting. You will assist the sales team with quotes and territory updates, and help train backup clerks to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must have High School or GED.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn company systems.

Responsibilities

• Backup for dispatching and scheduling haulers for daily loads.
• Weighing and ticketing trucks, and daily ticket verification.
• Manage visitor check-ins and site safety requirements for visitors.
• Process daily cash sales and handle office duties (phone, mail, filing).
• Update and compile daily CAPP reports; submit to QC lab and plant manager.
