Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. seeks a Plant Manager to direct all Operations and Maintenance at the plant in California. The role ensures safe, compliant, and reliable plant operation, with adequate manpower, tools, and parts.

You will lead safety, environmental, and QA/QC programs and oversee outages and staffing decisions. The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or equivalent, a decade of plant experience, and proven supervision of technical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years of power plant or similar experience.
• 3 years of experience supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel.
• Preferred experience: Gas turbine experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct all plant Safety, Operations, NERC Compliance, Maintenance, Administrative, Training, Chemistry and Environmental QA/QC programs to assure safe, efficient operation.
• Manage and oversee the performance of planned and unplanned plant outages.
• Implement training and qualification programs to assure procedures are understood and followed.
• Review plant policies to reflect current operating requirements.
• Direct the sourcing, screening and hiring of new or replacement personnel as needed.
• Ensure certification status of affected personnel is maintained current.
• Maintain high morale and motivation of plant personnel.
• Oversee preparation of client and utility reports, budgets, and environmental compliance reports.
