Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Plant Manager to direct all Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities at the plant in California. This role ensures adequate manpower, tools, equipment, and spare parts for safe and efficient operation, while meeting safety, environmental, and power-generation requirements.

The position oversees safety, operations, maintenance, training, QA/QC programs, and reports to the Operations Director.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent required; substitution allowed year-for-year.
• 10 years power plant or similar experience.
• Three years supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel.
• Gas turbine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant personnel and objectives align with client requirements.
• Administer Safety, Operations, NERC Compliance, Maintenance, Administrative, Training, Chemistry and Environmental QA/QC programs.
• Manage and oversee planned and unplanned plant outages.
• Implement training and qualification programs for plant personnel.
• Conduct periodic reviews of plant policies and procedures to reflect operating requirements.
• Direct sourcing, screening and hiring of new or replacement personnel.
• Verify certification status of affected operation and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain morale and motivation of plant personnel.
• Oversee preparation of client and utility reports, budgets and environmental compliance reports.
