Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Plant Manager to lead all Operations and Maintenance activities at a power plant in California. You will ensure safety, compliance, and reliable plant operation by coordinating personnel, training, and policy updates in line with client requirements.

The role oversees outages, reports, and budgets while maintaining high morale among staff. Strong leadership and experience with gas turbines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 10 years of power plant or similar experience.
• 3 years of experience supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel.
• Gas turbine experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all Operations and Maintenance activities to align with client requirements.
• Administer Safety, Operations, NERC Compliance, Maintenance, Administrative, Training, Chemistry and Environmental QA/QC programs to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Oversee planned and unplanned plant outages and maintenance.
• Implement training and qualification programs for plant personnel.
• Review and update plant policies to reflect current operating requirements.
• Direct sourcing, screening and hiring of new or replacement personnel.
• Ensure staff certification status is current.
• Prepare client and utility reports, budgets and environmental compliance documentation.
