You will lead staff, coordinate inventories, manage routing with logistics, maintain equipment, and partner with sales to drive reliable service while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; business/logistics degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in plant management or transportation operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Balance physical bulk plant and truck inventories.
• Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies or fuel losses.
• Ensure drivers' paperwork is properly completed and filed.
• Oversee daily safety inspections for trucks, equipment, and the plant.
• Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety drills.
• Manage day-to-day plant operations and staff.
• Coordinate weekly stand-up meetings and report progress to leadership.
• Plan routes with logistics to optimize deliveries and control costs.
• Maintain plant and equipment; ensure inspections and documentation are up to date.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to identify growth opportunities.
• Gain proficiency in company software (Inventory Workbench, SkyBitz, iRely, Otodata, SmartTank, Titan Cloud).
