Job summary

Palm Harbor Homes is seeking a Production Manager to lead plant production across multiple departments, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires strong leadership to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

College degree and manufacturing experience required.
Substantial experience in one or more production areas.
Ability to coach and develop production staff and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Oversee safe production environment and enforce safety policies.
Communicate with plant operations manager and general manager on safety, quality, and productivity.
Strategically manage workforce including hiring, promotion and staffing changes.
Ensure work orders are followed for accurate, efficient assembly of components.
Coordinate weekly goals, forecasts, and staffing for upcoming weeks.
Communicate attendance and staffing needs across departments.
Maintain tools and machinery stewardship and upkeep.
Perform other duties as assigned.
