Job summary

Palmdale Oil Company, a leading fuel and lubricant solutions provider, seeks a Plant Manager in Davie, Florida. You will oversee day-to-day operations, safety, customer service, and efficiency to ensure smooth plant performance.

Expect to lead staff, manage inventories and maintenance, coordinate with logistics and sales, and drive improvements using our ERP and tank-monitoring tools. A strong background in operations, safety, and DOT compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, logistics, or related field is preferred.
• 2–4 years of plant management or transportation operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of truck maintenance, safety regulations, and DOT compliance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Balance physical bulk plant and truck inventories.
• Monitor inventory, investigate discrepancies and losses.
• Ensure driver paperwork is properly completed and filed.
• Oversee safety checks and regulatory compliance.
• Manage daily operations and staff.
• Coordinate weekly stand-up meetings.
• Plan routes with logistics to optimize deliveries.
• Maintain professional plant environment.
• Collaborate with sales to drive customer service.
• Utilize software for inventory, routing, ERP, and tank monitoring.
