Job summary

The Bay Family of Companies in Colorado is seeking a Plant Manager to provide leadership for a manufacturing facility, focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control. You will oversee production, maintenance, shipping, receiving, and administration while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include championing safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, maintaining product quality, coordinating inbound/outbound logistics, managing inventory and budgets, and developing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with logistics coordination and transportation management systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of safety and lead by example.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies.
• Spend ≥30% of time on the production floor to engage with employees on safety and operations.
• Maintain product quality and adherence to standards.
• Schedule and coordinate inbound materials, production, and finished goods for on-time delivery.
• Control costs, manage inventory, and monitor budgets.
• Provide daily leadership and development for plant personnel.
• Oversee maintenance and safety of equipment and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with sales and corporate leadership to align production and customer expectations.
