Job summary

Hydsoft CO., LTD in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Plant Manager to oversee production, engineering, EHS safety, and site operations. You will lead a 20+ team, drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with engineering, QA and SCM to maintain quality and on-time delivery.

The role is full-time and exempt, with annual bonus potential, bi-weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with company match and full medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing management experience, leading a production team of 20+ employees.
• Solid practical knowledge of standardized manufacturing management processes and disciplines.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite for daily operation reporting and data analysis.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the entire production team including receiving and shipping functions to achieve site safety, quality, output and delivery targets.
• Optimize daily plant operations via continuous improvement projects and lead Kaizen events to eliminate waste, improve efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Ensure full adherence to US local regulatory requirements and plant permit compliance. Implement and enforce site safety policies and risk management programs.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and actively participate in internal and external audits.
• Oversee overall equipment preventive maintenance schedules and handle emergency breakdown issues to minimize production downtime and ensure stable plant operation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality and SCM teams to resolve daily operational, technical, quality and supply chain issues.
• Manage on-site staffing arrangement, workforce scheduling, job training, performance evaluation and daily personnel matters for production teams.
• Build and sustain Built-in Quality culture on site, maintain stable product quality and reliable delivery to support long-term positive customer relationships.
• Monitor and review key business indicators, ensure accurate transaction and inventory management for raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
