48forty Solutions seeks a Plant Manager to partner with the General Manager in directing all plant operations and achieving safety, service, quality, and cost goals. You will mentor staff, drive Lean initiatives, and manage production, shipping, and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, process discipline, and cost control to deliver performance and profitability for the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations/Supply Chain or related field required.
• Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with private fleet management/transportation preferred.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage employee relations with non-exempt staff.
• Experience managing safety performance and programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the work of all production employees and oversee schedules based on raw and finished goods.
• Provide hands-on leadership as a working manager, mentoring and coaching staff.
• Support plant administration to ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in new hire processes with HR recruiters and onboarding teams.
• Consult with General Manager on cost and yield performance of the plant.
• Drive cost control initiatives and process improvements.
• Review operations and local transportation to stay compliant with laws.
• Drive safety improvements across the plant.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and align with PMS Global Supply Chain.
• Deliver best practices and cost efficiencies while maintaining quality.
• Implement Lean to eliminate waste and improve asset utilization.
