Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. seeks a Plant Manager to direct and manage plant operations, ensuring production and quality targets are met while emphasizing safety. The role requires hands-on leadership on the production floor, coaching direct reports and driving continuous improvement across processes.

You will develop future leaders through mentoring, manage resources and expenses, and align strategies with division goals to improve productivity and customer satisfaction at the Dallas facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years related experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in extrusion, plastic bag converting, or paper converting is a plus.
• Proven technical and leadership ability to use structured problem solving to deliver results.
• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage plant operations including production and quality.
• Spend significant time on the production floor to lead by coaching.
• Develop future leaders by mentoring and challenging direct reports.
• Plan, organize, direct and run day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
