Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a seasoned production supervisor to lead plant teams, oversee safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure efficient operations across maintenance, logistics, and planning. The role requires directing performance objectives and coaching staff to meet strict safety and production targets.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to OSHA standards, and collaboration with leadership to drive continuous improvement in a recycling-focused manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in manufacturing/production supervisory roles.
• Ability to read, interpret technical and governmental regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels of the company.
• Experience writing reports, procedures, and manuals.
• Safety-conscious with ability to train and enforce safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of employees.
• Ensure equipment operates per O&M manual.
• Check incoming/outgoing material for quality.
• Maintain 5S program and housekeeping.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety training.
• Manage material inventories and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, organized commodity inventories.
• Report plant/equipment damage and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement job safety analyses (JSAs).
• Oversee overtime and travel as required.
