Job summary

Pratt Industries in Dallas is seeking a Production Manager to lead plant operations on the production floor, driving safety, quality, and cost improvements while mentoring supervisors and technicians.

You will plan and organize day-to-day activities, monitor metrics, manage budgets, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in a GMP environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience
• Extrusion, plastic bag converting, paper converting experience is a plus
• Strong leadership and problem-solving ability
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and run day-to-day plant operations to meet customer expectations
• Increase production, asset capacity, reduce waste and costs while maintaining quality
• Ensure safety, GMPs and SOP compliance across operations
• Develop future leaders by coaching and mentoring direct reports
• Analyze data to identify waste or overtime and implement improvements
• Create departmental vision with actionable dates and delegated responsibilities
• Communicate needs to Plant Manager/Regional Manager and Management team
