Pratt Industries, a leading paper and packaging company, seeks a Production Manager to lead plant operations, focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership on the production floor, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The candidate will manage key production metrics, coordinate with the Plant Manager, and foster a customer-focused environment while upholding GMPs and safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or related field preferred
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience
• Extrusion, plastic bag converting, paper converting experience a plus
• Structured problem solving to deliver results
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage plant operations for production and quality
• Spend significant time on the production floor and lead process improvements
• Develop future leaders through coaching and mentoring
• Ensure safety, GMPs, SOPs, and continuous improvement programs
• Monitor metrics, control expenses, and optimize productivity
