Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead plant floor operations, drive safety, and oversee production, quality and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires spending significant time on the production floor and mentoring staff.

You will develop and train manufacturing personnel, manage resources, and collaborate with management to meet customer expectations while maintaining GMP standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 1–3 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Extrusion, plastic bag converting, or paper converting experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and coaching abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage plant floor operations to meet production and quality goals.
• Lead safety, GMP adherence, and continuous improvement programs.
• Develop and mentor manufacturing floor employees; recruit and train staff.
• Analyze data to identify waste or overtime and implement improvements.
• Plan resources and costs to optimize production and throughput.
