Responsibilities

• Develop processes maximizing stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
• Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
• Manage safety programs to protect employees and the public.
• Follow product quality procedures to ensure quality and purity.
• Lead staff development and provide training materials as needed.
• Achieve high productivity and quality through continuous improvement.
• Apply HR principles for hiring, reviewing, terminating, promoting, directing, supervising, and motivating plant personnel.
• Recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
• Repair or replace plant equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
