Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee site/branch activities, safety, staffing, and customer service in collaboration with Sales and Supply Chain teams.

This role guides safety/compliance, drives packaged gas and welding products sales, and manages cylinder production and distribution. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years in related operations, with a strong emphasis on safety, lean practices, and regulatory training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Five to ten years related experience in site/branch operations or package gas operations.
• Valid Driver's License
• Hazardous Materials training
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Hands-on understanding of industrial gas products, production and distribution.
• Six Sigma and lean manufacturing CE practices.
• Safety and compliance training (OSHA, DOT, EPA and FDA)

Responsibilities

• Lead the local team to manage safety and compliance performance.
• Oversee packaged gas sales, welding products and hard goods sales.
• Direct cylinder production and distribution operations.
• Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
