Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of the Acetylene Plant, including production, distribution, and adherence to company policies.

You will lead safety, quality, and productivity initiatives while ensuring on-time shipping and customer satisfaction. This role requires 7–9 years of industrial management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7–9 years of industrial management experience required.
• Strong safety commitment and communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel occasionally; able to stand and work extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes maximizing safety, quality and productivity.
• Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
• Manage safety programs to protect employees and the public.
• Repair or replace plant equipment as needed.
• Provide training and educational materials to staff.
