Job summary

PYP in Memphis is seeking a Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee all phases of plant operations including production, quality control, maintenance, receiving and shipping.

You will lead a team, ensure safety and efficiency, manage budgets and KPIs, develop staff, and engage with customers to strengthen service levels. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on operations experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in production, operations, and/or distribution.
• Preferred: prior management experience in salvage yards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departments for the facility including production, administration, distribution, and safety.
• Develop relationships with existing customers to promote retention and loyalty.
• Interact with customers to determine service needs and implement changes accordingly.
• Manage KPIs related to sales growth, collections, productivity, inventory control and profit margins.
• Establish accurate budget projections and operate within the designated budget.
• Oversee product quality control and implement improvements as necessary.
• Handle human resources duties including hiring, terminating, and reassigning personnel.
• Identify deficiencies and implement a plan for continuous improvement.
• Engage with the local community and develop leadership at lead foreman levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
