Qualifications

• BS degree in a scientific field or equivalent education and training.
• 6-8 years of plant operations experience with multi-functional responsibility.
• Knowledge of plant management jargon and auditing for successful audits.
• Working knowledge of inventories and computerized load move data.
• People skills to manage complex departments and meet deadlines.
• Must be computer literate with MS Office and AS400 systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Manager to meet manufacturing goals and customer orders.
• Direct a safe, clean manufacturing environment and ensure quality.
• Communicate with senior management and sales on budgeting and customer satisfaction.
• Staff departments appropriately and implement organizational changes.
• Manage labor, equipment, facilities and audits for compliance.
• Plan and direct plant activities to meet annual plans.
• Prepare, review, or audit forms and records as needed.
• Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
