Job summary

Pick Your Part in Memphis seeks an experienced Operations Leader to supervise production, distribution, safety, and admin functions. You will direct staff, manage budgets, drive quality control, and nurture customer relationships to promote loyalty.

Responsibilities include improving KPIs, coordinating with HR on staffing, and leading continuous improvement initiatives while engaging with the local community and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience in production, operations, or distribution.
• Salvage yard management experience preferred.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and business software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departments for the facility: production, admin, distribution, and safety.
• Develop relationships with existing customers to promote retention and loyalty.
• Interact with customers to determine service needs and implement changes.
• Manage KPIs for sales growth, collections, productivity, inventory, and margins.
• Set accurate budget projections and operate within the budget.
• Oversee product quality control and implement improvements as needed.
• Handle HR tasks: hiring, termination, reassignment of personnel.
• Identify deficiencies and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Engage with the local community and represent the plant.
• Develop leadership at lead person and foreman levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
