The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Senior Operations Supervisor to oversee both above-ground and underground aggregates mining crews and to manage personnel, equipment, trucking and material flow. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and cost accountability across a multi-site operation.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety practices, leading nights/weekends when needed, traveling to job sites, and coordinating with Quality Control to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintain a Mine Foreman certification from Ohio Dept of Mineral Resource Management.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and direct operations for above ground and underground aggregates mining crews.
• Supervise facility personnel to ensure proper resource placement.
• Ensure compliance with The Shelly Company safety practices and policies.
• Enforce company policies and document employee performance issues.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks; ensure a safe work environment.
• Identify and resolve regulatory, safety, personnel, and production problems quickly.
• Communicate cost yields and accountability with field calculations.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet specification requirements.
