Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Plant Foreperson to lead production and load out of materials from the batch plant and to coordinate dispatch and scheduling for timely deliveries. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety rules, batching concrete to spec, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and supporting dispatch with driver scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years related experience; management experience preferred.
• CDL and ACI Level One certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and conduct safety meetings.
• Batch concrete per specifications and read dispatch orders.
• Operate batching safely and comply with regulations.
• Print invoices and assist with payments.
• Manage plant inventory and scheduling.
• Develop proficiency in batching, dispatch, and quality control software.
• Assist dispatch in driver scheduling and jobsite coordination.
