Adient is seeking a Plant Manager in Normal, IL to lead all plant operations, ensure production schedules, and hit financial targets while meeting customer requirements. The role drives performance, oversees continuous improvement, and maintains strong internal/external communications.

Required are 8–10 years in manufacturing with at least 5 years in leadership, and a Bachelor's degree in industrial management, engineering, or business administration, plus Lean certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Solid leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations to meet production schedules and financial targets.
• Drive performance to achieve financial and operational targets.
• Communicate across the organization to ensure target attainment and launches.
• Engage hourly workforce through continuous improvement actions.
• Direct, guide and motivate subordinates to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE&E policies.
• Lead continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, and financials.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to resolve concerns as needed.
• Maintain plant relations with labor and civic leaders.
• Forecast plant requirements to set budgets for labor and materials.
• Maintain contact with community leaders to improve local image.
