Job summary

Adient US LLC in Normal, IL is seeking an Operation Manager to lead manufacturing functions and drive efficient, quality production in a high‑volume environment. You will plan, organize and control production to meet quality and profitability targets, coordinating with plants, customers and suppliers as needed.

Under the Plant Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, implement shop floor standards and manage staffing, materials and equipment to stay on schedule and protect profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; 5–8 years' experience in production environment preferred.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations and teams is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and controls the plant's manufacturing functions to meet quality, schedule, and profitability goals.
• Leads assembly operations and coordinates production departments to ensure on-time parts delivery and cost efficiency.
• Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities; ensures shop floor standards (BOS, 5S) are followed.
• Maintains compliance with safety procedures and OSHA guidelines; communicates risks and actions to the team.
