Job summary

Adient in Normal, IL is seeking an Operations Manager who will plan, organize, and control the plant's manufacturing functions to produce quality products on time and profitably. Under the Plant Manager, you will lead assembly operations, manage staffing and costs, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives such as BOS and 5S.

You will coordinate with other departments to meet production goals while maintaining strong leadership and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required with demonstrated production experience.
• 5–8 years in a production environment with increasing responsibility.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and controls the plant's manufacturing functions to produce quality products on time and profitably.
• Leads assembly operations and coordinates work across production departments to meet schedules and budgets.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and active safety practices; drives continuous improvement (BOS, 5S, procedures).
• Analyzes operations to determine material, equipment and staffing needs; collaborates with other departments.
• Manages training, performance feedback, and liaison with Plant Manager to ensure objectives.
