Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Operations Management or Business, or equivalent relevant years of experience.
• 8–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong lean manufacturing background.
• Previous experience in metals is strongly desired.
• Travel required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages all plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering, quality and other production-related activities, prioritizing safety.
• Oversees policies and processes to minimize costs and maximize production.
• Leads continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Develops manufacturing plans and production schedules to increase profit and reduce overhead.
• Coordinate purchasing, production, quality and distribution with department heads to achieve year-over-year improvements.
