Job summary

Plymouth seeks an experienced Plant Manager to direct all plant operations, including production, maintenance, engineering, and quality, with a strong emphasis on safety. The role leads lean initiatives and drives continuous improvement while building a high-performance culture.

You will develop production plans, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet financial and operational targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management or Business or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong lean manufacturing background.
• Experience in metals is strongly desired.
• Travel required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages all plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering and quality.
• Lead culture initiatives to attract and retain top talent and ensure safety remains a priority.
• Develop manufacturing plans and schedules to increase profit and reduce overhead.
• Coordinate purchasing, production, quality and distribution to meet KPI targets.
• Implement and optimize new technologies and processes for sustainable growth.
• Maintain budgets and drive cost control while supporting PBS principles.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety policies and standards.
