Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Storm Lake, IA seeks a Plant Manager to oversee all shop floor operations and drive production efficiency. You will supervise manufacturing, engineering, scheduling, maintenance and cost controls to meet quality and delivery targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 10+ years in manufacturing with 4+ years in a supervisory capacity, strong leadership, communication and cost-analysis skills, and proficiency with spreadsheet tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or Industrial Management.
10+ years in manufacturing, including at least 4 years in a higher-level supervisory capacity.
Broad knowledge of manufacturing methods, production planning, employee/labor relations, and standard cost and financial controls.

Responsibilities

Directs manufacture and assembly at optimum costs.
Meets scheduled delivery dates with minimal WIP inventory.
Develops cost, scrap, rework reduction programs to improve EBIT.
Controls quality, cost of production, inventory, shipping and receiving.
Determines plant policies and applies them to operations.
Coordinates execution of schedules based on sales requirements.
Ensures availability of raw materials and supplies.
Reviews and approves recommendations for machinery and buildings.
Oversees maintenance and plant security.
Supports HR policies and labor relations, including union negotiations where applicable.
