Job summary

Campbell's Operations Manager in Franklin, WI leads a 300-person plant, guiding daily operations to ensure safety, quality, and strong customer service while driving cost improvements.

You will develop a high-performing team, manage budgets and capital plans, and partner with internal and external customers to deliver results. This role requires strategic leadership and a proven record of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (Small Plant)/5+ years in a manufacturing environment (Medium Plant).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development abilities.
• Experience with cost controls, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations through direct reports to meet production targets.
• Establish production standards, budgets, cost controls, and ensure food safety and quality objectives are met.
• Develop direct reports with guidance, coaching, and projects to enable high engagement and performance.
• Oversee the plant budget, staffing, maintenance, and capital expenditures; ensure financial targets are met.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional teamwork across departments.
• Plan manufacturing processes, personnel, material, and equipment needs; ensure alignment with goals.
• Coordinate with functions and suppliers to optimize production resource use.
• Identify waste reduction opportunities and maintain high production efficiency and quality.
• Review operational data and resolve issues to minimize costs and delays; ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate objectives, priorities, and results to Plant Management and Corporate teams.
• Contribute to product strategy and development efforts; train staff on roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure all employees are knowledgeable about their roles and responsibilities.
