Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, seeks an Operations Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day plant operations and lead production teams toward safety, quality, and efficiency. You will manage workforce, coordinate with site managers, and ensure adherence to company policies and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and proven experience in concrete or similar construction operations. Competitive pay and benefits offered in a collaborative, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Three to five years of increasing responsibilities in concrete or similar construction duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate, coach, and motivate personnel.
• Manage the workforce assigned to the plant daily.
• Direct work at plant locations and job sites.
• Maintain quality assurance of the plant as required.
• Perform routine plant maintenance.
• Control expenditures and maximize profits for the plant, region, and company.
• Control and maintain inventory levels.
• Routinely inspect vehicles and equipment and report repairs needed.
• Assist with accident and environmental investigation/compliance.
• Complete all paperwork and reports required by the company in a timely manner.
• Issue discipline as required.
• Review time cards and monitor attendance.
• Adhere to and positively communicate all company policies.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
