Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a dynamic plant leader to manage the manufacturing facility and drive achievement of objectives and budgets. The role includes formulating strategies, validating SOPs, and guiding the industrial organization toward Vertiv’s strategic direction.

The ideal candidate will have significant manufacturing experience, progressive leadership roles, and a track record in production planning, quality control, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in manufacturing or industrial operations with increasing responsibility.
• Experience supervising or managing in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production planning, quality control, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Determines and Executes Administrative Policies through subordinate Managers.
• Insures the Optimal Operation of Departments within the Organization such as: Production, Quality, Finance, Materials, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, Health & Safety, etc.
• Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating, and Developing staff and acting as a Facilitator; promote inter-departmental harmony.
• Represents the Organization in Industrial, Commercial or Service Trade Associations to develop acceptance and detect trends affecting the Organization.
• Has the Organization’s General Power of Attorney.
• Oversee operations to ensure safety and develop plans for smooth execution.
