Job summary

Vertiv Co in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead multiple NPDI and capital projects, standardize manufacturing processes across Vertiv plants, and coordinate global manufacturing standards with Design Engineering and Operations.

You will drive manufacturing plans for new products, oversee end-to-end prototype builds, and contribute to cost analyses while applying Lean and Six Sigma methods. Strong PM and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSEE/IE/Business Operations Management and 3–5 years manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• MSME/MSEE/IE/MBA and 5+ years of Advanced Manufacturing experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.
• Extensive knowledge of formalized Advanced and Lean Manufacturing applications.
• Extensive experience in New Product Development and Product Transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversight multiple projects on NPDI, product transfers and capital projects.
• Coordinate manufacturing plans aligned to Product Roadmaps with LOB Leaders.
• Develop and implement manufacturing plans for assigned new products.
• Provide support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development.
• Support operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
• Identify, pilot, and implement Advanced Manufacturing technologies and practices.
• Provide support for manufacturing cost analyses of new and existing products.
• Execute Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and NPDI deliverables.
• Lead Manufacturing Prototype builds with operations to achieve 2 weeks LT.
• Assist Engineering Prototype builds with Design Engineering and growth strategies.
