• Determines and Executes Administrative Policies through subordinate Managers.
• Insures the Optimal Operation of Departments within the Organization such as: Production, Quality, Finance, Materials, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, Health & Safety, etc.
• Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating, and Developing staff and acting as a Facilitator; promote inter-departmental harmony.
• Represents the Organization in Industrial, Commercial or Service Trade Associations to develop acceptance and detect trends affecting the Organization.
• Has the Organization’s General Power of Attorney.
• Oversee operations to ensure safety and develop plans for smooth execution.

The plant manager will validate and authorize standard operating procedures (SOP) for Vertiv. The plant manager is responsible for managing the industrial organization, participates in establishing the objectives and strategies that will determine the company’s strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Determines and Executes Administrative Policies through subordinate Managers.
• Insures the Optimal Operation of Departments within the Organization such as: Production, Quality, Finance, Materials, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, Health & Safety, etc.
• Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating, and Developing his/her Staff as well as acting as a Facilitator. Also Responsible for promoting and maintaining Inter-departmental harmony.
• Represents the Organization in Industrial, Commercial or Service Trade Associations to develop an acceptance of the Company, as well as to detect situations or trends that can affect the Organization.

• Oversee operations to ensure safety. Develop plans that help operations run smoothly.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree or MBA related to operations is preferred.

Requirements

• Significant experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production planning, quality control, and process optimization
• 5-7 years of progressive development in a manufacturing environment
