Job summary

Vertiv in Lincoln, Nebraska, seeks a dynamic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility. The role includes formulating objectives, negotiating budgets, and approving SOPs to drive operational excellence.

The successful candidate will guide production, quality, and safety programs, supervise staff, and partner with leadership to align with Vertiv's strategic priorities. Travel is required up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in manufacturing or industrial operations with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production planning, quality control, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Determines and Executes Administrative Policies through subordinate Managers.
• Insures the Optimal Operation of Departments within the Organization such as: Production, Quality, Finance, Materials, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, Health & Safety, etc.
• Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating, and Developing his/her Staff as well as acting as a Facilitator. Also Responsible for promoting and maintaining Inter-departmental harmony.
• Represents the Organization in Industrial, Commercial or Service Trade Associations to develop an acceptance of the Company, as well as to detect situations or trends that can affect the Organization.
• Has the Organization's General Power of Attorney.
• Oversee operations to ensure safety Develop plans that help operations run smoothly.

Summary

Vertiv Corporation in Lincoln Nebraska is seeking a dynamic leader to manage our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will formulate, negotiates, and manage the organization's objectives and budgets, as well as the strategies, actions, and plans to achieve those objectives. The plant manager will validate and authorize standard operating procedures (SOP) for Vertiv. The plant manager is responsible for managing the industrial organization, participates in establishing the objectives and strategies that will determine the company's strategic direction.
