Job summary

EmergencyMD is looking for an Assistant Plant Manager in Baltimore, Maryland to oversee the entire plant operation, ensuring the processing of raw materials into high-quality products while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include supervision of staff, quality control, and vendor management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a plant environment, along with strong organizational and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience in an industrial setting.
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing facility.
• Rendering industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entire plant operation processing raw materials.
• Maintain efficient flow of raw materials.
• Monitor performance to ensure high standards.
• Control vendor pricing and plan stock orders.
• Ensure quality of finished products.
• Supervise maintenance and production personnel.
• Conduct safety meetings and investigate accidents.
