Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Baltimore plant. You will supervise and direct the maintenance staff, coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment availability to meet production goals.

You will develop short- and long-term maintenance plans, oversee electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and report on maintenance performance. Strong welding and PLC troubleshooting skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance.
• 3–5 years of Stick and TIG welding fabrication or 2 years PLC troubleshooting/programming.
• At least 1 year experience with computer maintenance programs (MS Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assigns work of maintenance staff and inspects for completeness.
• Develops, supports and coordinates maintenance personnel by communicating short- and long-term maintenance plans.
• Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintains electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related plant systems.
• Ensures equipment availability through effective scheduling of maintenance and repair.
• Ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinates teams to improve performance and procedures; works with Maintenance Manager on actions.
