Job summary

Industrial Resource Group is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for a large-scale food production facility in the Mid-Atlantic. You will oversee production, maintenance, quality, supply chain and engineering, and align plant performance with safety, quality and cost objectives.

This senior role partners with executive leadership to drive continuous improvement, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, HACCP/GMP compliance, and a high-performance culture

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience overseeing large-scale production facilities.
• Strong track record in Lean/Six Sigma programs and cost reduction initiatives.
• Deep understanding of safety and quality systems (HACCP, GMPs, food safety).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead workforce planning, succession, and talent development across multiple departments.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory adherence across plant functions.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean methodologies and cost-saving initiatives.
