Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to lead on-site operations at Marblehead Agg OH. You will coordinate production, schedule activities, manage staff, and ensure budgets and client specifications are met.

The role requires driving performance and safety while collaborating with sales and peer managers to optimize processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in Mining, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, and is prepared to work on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mining, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operation schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production and quality specs.
• Manage subordinate staff in day-to-day performance and ensure milestones and budgets are met.
• Drive financial performance via monthly operation forecast and optimize KPIs.
• Balance inventory and sales needs to minimize working capital impact.
• Lead on-site operations daily and implement maintenance, production and shipping best practices.
