The role involves cleaning, monitoring processes, and filling in for other shifts as needed, with focus on safety and accuracy in reporting conditions. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to work nights and weekends, and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions, and write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• General plant labor and cleanup of production areas; observe and report conditions affecting quality.
• Fill in for other entry-level production positions as needed during vacations and high demand.
• Perform kiln outage work including removal and installation of kiln refractory.
• Report equipment problems to management and complete pre-shift reports when applicable.
• Maintain clean work areas and assist with general duties as assigned.
