Job summary

Carmeuse is seeking a general plant laborer to help cleanup production areas and support daily operations at multiple facilities. The role involves monitoring for product nonconformities, learning entry-level production tasks, and assisting with equipment as needed.

Responsibilities include loading material for customers, reporting issues to management, and performing pre/post shift equipment checks. The position requires basic math, safety awareness, and willingness to work rotating shifts,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of raw material loading experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts; including nights and weekends
• Ability to learn mechanical equipment operation and maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

• General plant labor and cleanup of production areas; observe, monitor and report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity.
• Operate small front end loader; water truck, skid steer, and sweeper truck as needed.
• Load material onto customer trucks; report equipment problems to management; complete pre/post shift equipment reports if applicable.
