Job summary

Carmeuse is seeking a plant operator to support the lime production process on the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11pm–7:15am). The role involves operating and monitoring equipment, basic maintenance, inspections, and safe handling of materials in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, plant experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends. Attention to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Includes ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Able to operate, monitor and troubleshoot process equipment.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and overtime including weekends.
• Previous plant experience is preferred.
• Safety training completion is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment for lime products.
• Perform basic maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
• Conduct visual inspections and troubleshoot process equipment.
• Operate mobile equipment as needed.
• Backfill and assist teammates when required.
• Follow safety regulations and PPE procedures.
