Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Control professional to manage MRO material procurement, inventory accuracy, and supply continuity across plant operations. You will handle over 13,000 stock-keeping units weekly, process 150+ requisitions, and maintain $4.1M in inventory while expediting critical parts when needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and a valid forklift license, with preferred experience in maintenance and factory environments.

• Procure materials for MRO with focus on cost, quality and service.
• Maintain accurate purchase and inventory records to ensure accountability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly review of stock keeping units and expedite high-use parts as needed.
• Process departmental purchase requisitions to maintain plant availability while controlling costs.
• Maintain inventory files and address shortages or issues immediately.
• Coordinate resources to ensure continuous supply and alignment with production schedules.
• Communicate clearly within the department about responsibilities and changes.
