Job summary

RTX is seeking an engineer to support infrastructure upgrades and document mechanical systems at Windsor Locks, CT. This hands-on role requires collaboration with electrical and structural teams to install new equipment and coordinate a bi-annual site shutdown.

Typically a STEM degree with two years of related experience is required; preferred is a BS in Mechanical Engineering, CAD experience (AutoCAD), and familiarity with chilled water or steam systems, plus ability to work independently or in

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
• Document existing mechanical infrastructure (Chilled Water, Tower Water, Steam, Compressed Air, etc.).
• Support in-house personnel as needed.
• Work closely with other disciplines (electrical, structural, etc.) to coordinate new equipment installations.
• Support bi-annual site shutdown project coordination.
