Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking an engineer to support infrastructure upgrades and maintenance, focusing on mechanical systems. This onsite role collaborates with electrical and structural teams to install new equipment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
• Document existing mechanical infrastructure (Chilled Water, Tower Water, Steam, Compressed Air, etc.).
• Support in-house personnel as needed.
• Work closely with other disciplines (electrical, structural, etc.) to coordinate new equipment installations.
• Support bi-annual site shutdown project coordination.
